E-Z Ancor 1 in. Hollow Door and Drywall Anchors (25-Pack) are ideal for use in hollow core doors and drywall. They offer a holding strength of up to 40 lb. in 1/2 in. drywall. No pre-drilling is necessary in drywall - anchors screw directly into wall and will not break if they hit a stud. Use only a #2 Phillips screwdriver. Common applications include hanging bathroom accessories, blinds or curtains, clocks, decorative wall hangings and more.

Save your door - do not use.

I followed the directions perfectly, but these anchors split the wood on my door, and would not enter all the way. Leaving them sticking out would look awful. I had to remove them and putty my door. If you do use them, drill a hole first. Wish I had. Returning the other package to Home Depot.
