Vintage Florida State Hospital Lapel Pin

Description

This hospital in FL has been in operation since 1876 & was the only mental institution in the state until 1947. The emblem has blue & white cloisonné with a pat cat joint & stem attachment. The number 5 disc is attached by a small screw & nut. (commonly used in the older designs to allow numbers to be interchanged) Antique bronze finish. This is in fantastic condition!
